Scripture: Rev. 12:10-11 “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Why the blood:
In the natural; the red fluid circulating in the body takes nourishment to the body parts and carries waste out of the body. In scripture: sometimes the word refers to the blood of animals Gen 37:31. At other times it refers to human blood 1 Ki. 22:35. Matt. 27:24 When Pilate say that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. ln Heb 2:14-18 “flesh and blood means humanity.
Spiritual significance:
The blood of sacrificial animals. Some say blood means animal’s life, most agree that blood refers to the animal’s death. Lev. 4:4-5 death of the animal not its life. The satisfaction or payment of human sins was made by the death of a specified animal substitute. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the alter to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul” Lev. 17:11. As a shadow and type of the OT – in the NT it was the blood of Jesus Christ. It was his sacrificial death on the cross that gave us eternal life. 1 Pet. 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” Heb 13:12 Heb 9:7-22
JESUS BLOOD; Jn 1:13 “Which was born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” And the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld by glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” In Luke 1 we know that it was the Holy Ghost that came upon Mary and the power of the Highest shall over shadow thee, therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Vs35.
Then when Jesus was crucified he shaded his blood and when he got up. In Lk 24:39 he said: Behold my hands and mu feet, that it is I myself; handle me and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. Didn’t say that he had blood. He ate and drink with his disciples but he had a glorified body. I Cor. 15:50, now this I say brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doeth corruption inherit incorruption. This brings us to 1 Jn. 5:4-8. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost and these are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, the water, and the blood; and three three agree in one.” Read Rev. 12:11
Prayer
How do we get free and overcome our challenges, strongholds, difficulties, problems, weaknesses.
This form of offensive prayer can be used not only to get God’s protection on you before adversity strikes, but it can also be used for physical, emotional and mental healings, for battling demons, and for battling any kind of adversity that may have already come your way.
I believe the number one reason why so many Christians are under such heavy attacks from both demons and bad and evil people in this world is because they do not have God's full protection on them. And the reason they do not have God’s full protection on them is because they have never been taught how to spiritually defend themselves using actual spiritual warfare!
There is only one way by which we are to come to God and that is by the name of Jesus. The blood is already before God (Hebrew9:12- 'once for all he took blood into that Most Holy Place, but not the blood of goats and calves. He took his own blood, and with it he secured our salvation forever.'). The believer in Christ as a result can boldly enter God's presence at any point in time (Hebrews10:19-20).
The Power to Overcome
What you are doing is using a legal term against Satan. Plead – to dispute with someone, to argue, to prove, to rebuke, to arbitrate. Is. 1:16-20, Let us reason together, the Prophet is saying “let us debate our case in court. Really: the connotation of legal confrontation attached to this term.
We have the right to stand our ground and argue our point that we are redeemed - cleansed - forgiven – have peace - sanctified - holy – can go to the Father boldly - mostly we are overcomers Rev. 12:11 over all of the forces of hell that Satan can through against us. We have a right to live in health, wealth, and abundance.
